The best way to channel information from these higher spiritual planes is through meditation. You can also do it through Reiki, but we’ll get to this later in the article.

What Are The Akashic Records And What Does Akashic Mean

The word “Akasha” derives from Sanskrit, and it means heaven, sky, or space. 

There are many versions of the word Akasha according to Hinduism. Some of these religious schools mention that Akasha is the fifth physical element responsible for our existence.

Most likely, when talking about the Akashic records, one imagines the huge Vatican library. I did, and I know it is very common. An almost infinite array of sophisticated designed covers sit on monumental wooden shelves.

But, truth to be told, this description is not entirely accurate.

How so?

The Akashic records are the spiritual archives of everything that happened in all dimensions. It’s a record of our universes and of each person’s life, the hard-drive of everything. They hold the past, present, and unfinalized possible outcomes.

This means that all known and unknown history is here.

It is a vast spiritual place that exists in the aether, an area with multiple dimensions. Each dimension has different zones, categorized according to their presented subject.

Some store our past life experiences. Others hold answers to potential future trajectories. Specific dimensions even include the mysteries and the creation of the known Universe.

Angelic, demonic, as well as keys to unlocking the amazing potential within us, can be found in this spiritual archive.

Therefore, we can’t even comprehend how it really looks because we don’t have any reference point in our world.

How Do Akashic Records Manifest

Akashic records hold everything that we have done in our past and present lives. This means that we access the Akashic records whenever we practice meditation, regression, or simply have an epiphany.

Let me give you an example.

A good friend of mine experienced repetitive dreams with her being a native American. Even though she is not from that part of the world, everything felt real, like a recent memory. She was pregnant, and her tribe was wiped out by colonial troops. One of the soldiers stabbed her in the abdomen, killing her. She told me she always had a grudge on the people there, but she wasn’t sure why.

She went to Sedona, Arizona, for a spiritual week to find answers and peace. There were only like-minded people who made her feel comfortable and safe. They interacted and meditated together. Once, she remembered started crying. It was after one deep meditation.

The lady sitting next to her, handed her a pen and said: 

“You know what happened in this meditation, right?”

My friend answered:

“I’m not sure.”

The lady told her:

“We are the ones that hurt and murdered you in that lifetime. Please forgive us!”

It was a bit of a shock. Many things started making sense. The emotions overwhelmed her, and continued crying.

But what happened after is even more interesting.

Her grudge disappeared.

Deep healing took place and propelled her to an advanced spiritual awareness. She opened her heart to the people around and let compassion and understanding enter her soul.

This revelation was accessed through the Akashic records. Our past lives exist and are all recorded in this amazing, atheneum of knowledge. In fact, for further clarity, you cannot connect this kind of information without “passing” through the Akashic records.

The records don’t have the same laws we do. Time doesn’t exist as we understand it. It’s more linear. Everything is accessible in the same manner, regardless of when it happened.

The Akashic records hold information from all dimensions and universes that existed or interacted at one point in time.

Are The Akashic Records Real

Akashic records belong to the spiritual world. Like any related topic, it’s not proven by science. But, there are a few ways to correlate their existence with the concept of “Many Worlds”. This theory belongs to the field of Quantum Mechanics.

Basically, the Many Worlds theory implies the existence of parallel universes that coexist. Each of these universes has different laws that govern the physical and spiritual realms. There is another version of us in there who has a totally different life. Therefore, the daily actions of our “versions” from these universes can have totally different outcomes.

Having said that, even in our world, we can make decisions from various choices. Each has a potentially different outcome. And that’s why each and everyone’s future is not yet determined in the Akashic records. Many possibilities cannot stabilize until an event is consumed.

One of the earliest references, from the modern age, comes from Helena Petrovna Blavatsky. She is a famous Russian occultist that laid the foundations for what was later known as Theosophy, a religious-esoteric movement.

Blavatsky said that the Akashic Records are “indestructible tablets of the astral light”. They hold the past, present, and future of human thought and action.

Alice Ann Bailey, in her book “Light of The Soul”, described the Akashic Records as being immense. She said that they hold all the experiences of our planet.

Two of the most honorable mentions are by the theosophist Rudolf Steiner and American clairvoyant Edgar Cayce.

Rudolf Steiner is the founder of Anthroposophy. He is a legendary figure in everything related to metaphysics and spirituality. Steiner said that the Akashic Records truly exist, and the history and actions of each individual are recorded there.

Edgar Cayce is probably the best known clairvoyant and spiritual “connector” of all time. He helped channel a lot of information that was unknown. For this, he was able to connect to the Akashic records in several situations, thus confirming their existence.

How To Access The Akashic Records

First of all, we need to understand that each dimension of the Akashic records is guarded by multiple types of entities. These can be angels, archangels, ascendant masters, and other high-powered bodies.

The “curator” of the Akashic records is Archangel Metatron. He is the main guardian and the one who has the last word.

To access the Akashic records, you need to have a clear idea of what you want to know. Be sure to formulate a clear question that requires a complex answer. The entities that guard the Akashic records are more than willing to help but, as strange as it might seem, they prefer a focused and confident approach.

Often, we are not allowed to “see” other people’s records without a good reason or permission from that person.

The Akashic records can be accessed through guided or self-guided meditations. As far as I know, no particular meditation facilitates this connection better than others.

How To Read The Akashic Records With Reiki

As a Reiki practitioner, you can have a smoother path towards accessing the Akashic records. By channeling the universal life force energy daily, your intuition grows over time. You raise your vibration and improve your spiritual awareness.

Here is a 10 step meditation you can follow to enter the records:

In Reiki, you need to have a clear intention before starting a session. Here you have to know what you want to find out. With a clear question in mind, let’s move forward.

1. Find a quiet place and sit comfortably in a chair with your back straight;
2. Close your eyes and breath slowly. You can use the Alpha State of mind to relax;
3. Recite the Pathway Prayer (see link above);
4. Ask for help from your guardian angel and Reiki Spirit Guides;
5. Ask Archangel Metatron for guidance and to prepare you for entering the Akashic records;
6. Visualize the following sequence of Reiki symbols Cho Ku Rei > Sei He Ki > Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen. Now visualize how you are transported to the place where you may find answers;
7. Kindly ask the guardians of the records to give you permission;
8. Be patient and wait. Visualize how you receive the optimum answer for you and your life. There is a chance you will receive nothing in return. It’s possible that you are not ready to see the things you asked for;
9. Ask the guardians and Archangel Metatron to guide you back on Earth and thank them for their help. Be patient;
10. When you are ready, slowly open your eyes. Thank your Reiki Spirit Guides for their help;

With any type of meditation, expect the answers to come with a delay. Don’t worry. You’ll only receive the information you are allowed to have and at the right time for you.

The experience is strongly linked to your consciousness and vibration levels. The higher they are, the easier to gain more knowledge. Even so, sometimes, more practice is needed.

When you do get immediate access, it means an urgent matter had to be revealed to you. This can even be triggered in your sleep. Some people enter the Akashic records while sleeping without even using a specific method. When they wake up, they have the necessary knowledge to make an informed decision moving forward.
