Metatron’s Cube is the spiritual structure encompassing all the shapes found in nature and the Universe. It expands throughout multiple verses and is attributed to archangel Metatron.
The Cube represents a token of spiritual knowledge that has the potential to help you unlock the secrets of creation through a friendly approach.
Additionally, you may use it as a gateway to different levels of consciousness. It also acts as a layer of energetic protection against unwanted influences.
Despite many controversies surrounding Metatron’s Cube, understanding its origins, structure, and role requires a shift in perspective on how the Universe functions from a metaphysical standpoint.
This article aims to depict Metatron’s Cube’s true nature and function in our spiritual development.
What Is Metatron’s Cube
Metatron’s Cube is both a physical token and a spiritual structure revealed to us by Archangel Metatron.
It’s a physical blueprint that blends the micro and macro Universe. It includes all the energy and information needed to achieve divine knowledge and wisdom.
Of course, each person perceives, understands, and interacts with the Cube’s energy according to their current spiritual level and vibration.
NOTE: According to Kabbalah, Archangel Metatron is the divine presence that governs the highest dimension before the Creator. This level represents the first sephiroth, and it’s called the Keter. It’s where existence is possible through the emanation of the universal light. This makes Metatron one of the most powerful beings in existence.
Metatron Symbol
Metatron’s symbol is his Cube.
This metaphysical expression integrates all the fundamental spiritual concepts and geometric shapes that are part of the material universe or exist beyond it.
It contains the keys to unlocking the secrets of the creation of the known physical Universe as well as the ones hidden in the higher realms of existence.
The famous Italian mathematician Leonardo Pisano (also known as Leonardo Fibonacci) gave the name “Metatron’s Cube” to archangel Metatron’s symbol.
Leonardo Pisano was part of a society studying the sacred art of geometry and its connection to the formation of the Universe. To protect its work and in fear of being accused of witchcraft, the group remained secret for a very long time.
Once he gathered enough data from ancient Greece and Egypt, Fibonacci discovered a correlation between the creation of the Universe, mathematics (including sacred geometry), and the Jewish esoteric texts of Kabbalah.
He understood that the concept of the Flower of Life, which is the base for Metatron’s Cube, can be found in many ancient temples and religious places worldwide. He then “connected the dots,” so to speak, between the Flower of Life and Platonic Solids, which stand at the base of sacred geometry.
Pisano took his work even further and compared the Egyptian and Jewish esoteric texts. As a result, he discovered a unique symbol encompassing all these shapes found within the Universe.
Thus, through his studies, Pisano named this symbol “Metatron’s Cube” – the emanation of existence within the physical Universe.
Metatron’s Cube Meaning
The terms “Meta” and “Tron” can have multiple interpretations, but as a general translation, they mean:
- “Meta” – manifested awareness of oneself;
- “Tron” – a device or instrument in the Greek language;
Also, “Meta Trono” roughly translates as “before the throne” in Greek. This will certainly make sense if you consider that archangel Metatron sits next to the divine throne. Therefore, he receives and documents all the messages from God.
But Metatron’s Cube meaning goes even deeper if you look at it from a scientific and a broader spiritual perspective.
Specifically, it blends the physical and metaphysical elements into one structure.
The physical components like science, mathematics, physics, and biology now go hand in hand with the origins of energy within our physical Universe and the spiritual side that allowed the Universe to exist in the first place.
Therefore, considering these disciplines are still in their infancy, it’s somewhat mandatory to include the metaphysical side for more efficient development.
The Origin Of Metatron’s Cube
In the beginning, there was… nothing.
The concept of existence had not yet manifested within a physical form.
A single point, a singularity, a light then became present. You can call it spirit, the universal life force energy, or the divine manifestation in the physical Universe.
This spirit becomes aware of itself and its surroundings.
Movement follows, and the spirit places itself at the edge of the awareness sphere, creating a new one.
The two spheres intersect, and the area is called Vesica Pisces, representing the first geometric space that contains light.
The spirit now extends its awareness, exploring each intersection. This expansion creates a total of 6 additional circles, and all intersect with the original one.
This is the Seed of Life.
Within the 6 circles, multiple spiritual concepts appear, such as the 6 days of creation, the Holy Trinity, and the spark of existence in the physical Universe.
The spirit continues to expand with an additional 6 circles that intersect with the previous ones, thus forming the Egg of Life. This represents the element upon which life depends and includes everything that enables us to exist, starting from our mother’s womb. The information and energy stored at this level are in an egg of life-like structure.
The next stage on the evolution scale is the Flower Of Life, which results from another 6 circles that intersect the previous ones. The Flower of Life is a symbolic reference to our cells that develop and “blossom” to manifest life.
When the Flower of Life extends outwards, we get the Fruit of Life which portrays the complete sequence that started just as a single point.
The seeds, flowers, and fruits of life contain the primordial geometric shape: the circle (or sphere, depending on how you observe it). This means that the resulting energy of this structure is Yin or feminine. It is amorphous, static, and embodies emotion rather than order.
For the Universe to balance itself out, the primordial spirit needs to manifest Yang – masculinity which is represented through straight lines, displayed in a manner that connects all the circles/spheres.
An organized structure is now formed – the one we currently know as Metatron’s Cube.
It may sound abstract.
Still, Metatron’s Cube contains the fabric of reality by integrating the Platonic Solids, also known as the shapes of Sacred Geometry.
The Sacred Geometry Within Metatron’s Cube
Metatron’s Cube contains every geometric shape in nature, present on our Planet, within the Solar system, or hidden somewhere in the Universe.
Due to the unification of the female and masculine figures, the curved and straight lines, respectively, Metatron’s Cube integrates the 5 Platonic Solids, which are the base elements of Sacred Geometry.
NOTE: The Platonic Solids are related to Plato, the ancient Greek philosopher, and mathematician who studied the physical and spiritual realms of existence.
The Platonic Solids
Each of the Platonic Solids has equal-sized facets with edges of the same length and angles with an equal degree. If you were to place any of the solids within a sphere, the corners (edges) would touch its edges.
So there are 5 Platonic Solids, each with a specific meaning.
From a physical perspective – the 5 Platonic Solids are present in various elements in a geometrical pattern within all aspects of nature. This includes plants, animals, cells, and all the way through our DNA sequences.
From a spiritual perspective – each solid represents an energetic print of one of the five main elements that support life – air, water, Earth, wind, and ether (spirit).
From an alchemical perspective – the 5 Platonic Solids can also transform from one to another through the interaction of the elements they represent:
- Earth crates air;
- Air allows the fire to burn and spread;
- Water supports air and nourishes the Earth;
- Water also extinguishes fire;
- Ether (spirit) makes possible the existence of all these elements;
The 5 Platonic Solids are:
- Tetrahedron – has 4 equal-sized triangular sides and represents the element of fire;
- Hexahedron – contains 6 square sides that form a perfect cube. This represents the element of Earth;
- Octahedron – has 8 triangular sides and is associated with the element of air;
- Dodecahedron – has 12 pentagonal sides and represents the subtle energies of the spirit;
- Icosahedron – has 20 triangular sides, symbolizing the element of water;
These elements are the base foundation of Sacred Geometry.
The Sacred Geometry
You may have noticed that one element doesn’t belong to the 5 Platonic Solids: the sphere.
That’s because the circle and sphere represent the primordial figures from which all the platonic solids and sacred geometric shapes are “thrown” into existence.
Still, keep in mind that the Sacred Geometry shapes have a more metaphysical connotation that manifests through Metatron’s Cube. Each has a unique energy print that derives from its original divine source, which can be traced back to the Cube.
You may also use them within the spiritual practice to activate specific energetic and spiritual potentials for healing and evolution.
Many esoteric books contain shapes from Sacred Geometry, and almost all are present in rituals, meditations, and various religious traditions.
The Flower of Life, Kabbalah Tree Of Life, Moonflower, Five Pointed Star, and the Buddhist Yantra are just a few examples.
Both the Platonic Solids and the Sacred Geometry find their origins within Metatron’s Cube, each representing a level of spiritual awareness and awakening.
Metatron’s Cube In Nature
As previously mentioned, all the Platonic Solids are integrated within Metatron’s Cube. They are present all around us from the micro level all the way up to the observable Universe.
Whether you look through a microscope or fly a drone high above the ground, you’ll easily identify the Sacred Geometry shapes.
For example, a beehive is made predominantly of hexagons. But if you look closely at the three-dimensional shape, they are actually rhombic dodecahedrons. The same applies to a bee’s eye as well as many other insects.
Another example is the snowflake. It is said that snowflakes are identical, which is already fascinating. Still, at its base, each has a hexagonal prism which is part of the Platonic Solids.
According to Derek Gedney’s “Frequency Tone & Adjustment” test conducted in 2014, sonic geometry is attributed to different tones. Each has a unique frequency and creates a geometrical pattern attributed to that frequency.
Crystals such as quartz or amethyst share the same concept at a molecular level. Even their visible fascets create a pattern with origins within the Platonic Solids or Sacred Geometry.
At a macro level, we can notice the primordial rounded shape which prevails throughout the Universe. From the formation of planets and orbits to the movement of our solar system within The Milky Way galaxy, the circle, spiral, and sphere are the key elements that allow the Platonic Solids to exist in the first place.
The spiral architecture of galaxies, alongside the irregular shape of asteroids and cosmic objects, all have their roots within the solids and Sacred Geometry.
Considering these patterns are part of Metatron’s Cube, this majestic structure becomes a spiritual token and a key that unlocks the vital energies and pieces of information capable of sustaining life.
How To Draw Metatron’s Cube
Metatron’s Cube represents a broader concept encompassing many spiritual ideas and principles. Therefore, there is no specific order to follow when drawing it.
The Fruit of Life is probably the best place to start. You then connect the lines through the center of each circle.
To benefit from its presence, you can print it out and hang it on your wall, place it on your work desk, or anywhere your intuition guides you.
Is A 3D Version Of Metatron’s Cube Relevant
There are many 3D interpretations available for purchase.
But in the end, Metatron’s Cube is more of a concept than a shape with correspondence in both the astral and physical planes. All geometric patterns are part of it. Its complexity expands beyond our 3-dimensional world, and it’s likely present in multiple dimensions simultaneously.
Therefore, it doesn’t really matter if you expose yourself to a 2D or 3D version to bring its beneficial energy into the physical realm.
Some scholars consider that the first part of the Sephirotic Tree in Kabbalah is actually a representation of Metatron’s Cube. This means it expands within the highest divine dimensions as a colossal multi-dimensional structure emanated by Archangel Metatron.
Metatron’s Cube In Shamballa Reiki
Metatron’s Cube is part of Shamballa Reiki’s master/teacher level.
Shamballa Reiki is more of a spiritual ascension system than a mental and emotional healing practice like Usui Reiki.
The information, symbols, and methods you gain through this specialized training will help advance your consciousness and clear the residual and negative energies accumulated from past lives.
Once you sort this out, Shamballa Reiki will be the perfect guide in developing your inner vibration and uniting your inner and higher self. This will lead to accessing new levels of consciousness and accelerating your spiritual growth while minding your rhythm.
Metatron’s Cube is one of many cleansing and protection methods that you can use to dispel unwanted elements.
When invoked, it will engulf your physical and energetic body as it rotates clockwise or counter-clockwise, depending on each person’s current vibration. This will help dismantle negative energies, programs, and information while repelling malevolent entities.
Together with symbols like Mer Ka Fa Ka Lish Ma, Palm Master Symbol, Amsui, or Antahkarana, as well as protection methods such as the Column of Light of Archangel Michael, Metatron’s Cube complements Shamballa Reiki’s potential to help you become in tune with your higher self.
Furthermore, Metatron’s Cube brings to the conscious mind all the awareness and information required to start healing at the inner-self level and stimulate the activation of spiritual potentials.
But there’s one symbol that not only helps cleanse and protect you from unwanted elements but also activates dormant DNA sequences and structures meant to propel you toward tapping into higher levels of consciousness.
Metatron’s Cube And Merkaba
Merkaba is a spiritual concept that means “light, spirit, and body.” Its origins are known to be found within the Jewish esoteric knowledge.
The Merkaba concept refers to unity in wisdom, love, and light manifested by the divine Creator. It’s represented by the Merkaba Star, which encompasses multiple spiritual views.
Metatron’s Cube integrates the Merkaba Star as two intersecting Tetrahedrons when perceived as a three-dimensional structure.
The Merkaba Star is also present within the Shamballa Reiki system at the master-teacher level, where you can invoke it similarly to Metatron’s Cube. It will engulf your whole physical body and has the potential to:
- Dissolve most of the negative and residual energies that may reside within your energy fields due to its incredible rotation;
- Repel malevolent entities and low-vibrational elements;
- Balance the Yin and Yang aspects within your inner self;
- Generate a field of energy that will gradually activate inert spiritual structures when you invoke it in meditation. This will help you tap into higher awareness levels regarding yourself and your connection with the world;
- Help you reach new consciousness levels;
Metatron’s Cube And The Flower Of Life
Metatron’s Cube and the Flower of Life are ancient symbolic representations that are part of the divine creation knowledge.
The Flower of Life represents the interconnectedness of all that exists and the universal life force energy that manifests it into existence.
Metatron’s Cube is formed by extending the Flower of Life into the Fruit of Life, but their relationship can be perceived differently.
One way to view it is that the Flower of Life is a platform upon which Metatron’s Cube is formed. Alternatively, the Flower of Life can be seen as an all-encompassing spiritual structure that contains the Sephirotic Tree and Metatron’s Cube.
The concept of the Flower of Life may also represent the “finite infinite,” encompassing both the Sephirotic Tree and Metatron’s Cube and extending infinitely in every dimension, limited only by the divine Creator’s perception.
Despite the abstract nature of these concepts, they offer us a glimpse into the fabric of reality. By expanding our awareness and tapping into higher levels of consciousness across many spiritual dimensions, we can better understand these ancient ideas and our place within the divine creation.
The fact that we can access and explore these concepts is already an extraordinary feat.
How To Perform The Metatron’s Cube Meditation
Preparation
- Find a quiet moment of the day in which you can spend around 20-30 minutes;
- Remove all distractions such as cell phones, TVs, or other electronic devices that might influence your experience;
- You can play some relaxing music, preferably of a high vibrational tune such as the 528 or 432 Hz tunes;
- You may also light a candle or burn some incense as long as you keep them away from flammable objects;
- Sit comfortably in a chair with your back straight, preferably facing a window or even a printed picture of Metatron’s Cube;
- Ask your Reiki spirit guides and guardian angel to guide you in this meditation so that you can get the most out of it;
- Finally, take a few deep breaths, close your eyes, and relax. If necessary, use the Alpha State to help you reach a deeper level of relaxation;
Metatron’s Cube Meditation
- Visualise a bright beam of white light entering your crown chakra. Allow it to gradually descend through the length of your physical body to your feet. Once it reaches the ground, it will take any residual energies that you may have accumulated;
- Ask archangel Metatron to help you connect to his Cube in an optimum and beneficial way;
- Visualise Metatron’s Cube in front of you as it increases in size until it surrounds you and your energetic fields;
- Remain like this for a few minutes and contemplate the immense structure. Try to internalize its energy and information while accepting its protection and blending with the positive vibration;
- The next step is to gradually return to your own physical form and become whole again;
- You may open your eyes and resume your daily chores whenever you feel ready;
You can use this meditation for the Merkaba Star or the Flower of Life as well. Consider adding your own touch for a custom experience.
You should always ask for the support of your Reiki spirit guides and guardian angel before starting meditation with Sacred Geometry or the Akashic Records for the best outcome.
NOTE: Because Metatron’s Cube acts like a key that opens various dimensions and archangel Metatron is the keeper of the Akashic Records, there’s a chance that you may also receive access to some parts of these Records. Of course, for your protection, everything will happen according to your current vibration level and understanding. So always ask for Metatron’s support to guide you through the library.
One Final Word
Metatron’s Cube is a powerful symbol representing the energy balance of the Universe and the interconnectedness of all its elements. This sacred geometry encompasses the essential building blocks of life and symbolizes the perfect balance of Yin and Yang energies.
By tapping into its energy, we can connect with the universal life force energy and bring harmony to our spirit. Metatron’s Cube reminds us of our immense spiritual potential and the limitless possibilities that await us on our journey of self-discovery and growth.
This symbol is a key that unlocks a vast amount of knowledge. It can helps us learn so much about our origins, the Universe, and the various dimensions beyond our physical world.
Embracing the energy of Metatron’s Cube can lead us toward a greater understanding of our place in the world and the infinite potential that resides within us.
Vlad,
Quite appreciate your explanation on Metatron Cube.
List me for the MDS Level 1 asap.
Thanks.
Hi there Brown and thank you for your kind feedback.
I will send you an email regarding Shaballa Reiki.
Blessings!
Thank you for the information. I knew nothing about this when I saw a necklace of this on the internet and I thought it was beautiful. When it arrived, I immediately noticed that it activated me with much energy and I was scared. I almost threw it away because it can feel overwhelming but I kept noticing angel numbers on the clock so I have kept it for the time being. My husband says it’s making my reiki stronger. I have also noticed an increase in intuitive dreams. All of that is great, I just feel very nervous about it for some reason. Can you recommend any books or teachings with more information so I can learn to use this in a safe way?
Hi Melissa.
Metatron’s Cube, even as a necklace, represents a very high vibrational spiritual token and can have a powerful impact on your energetic body, especially if the person has stagnated with their spiritual practices. That’s why you might feel nervous around it or wearing it – due to the difference in vibration. There are quite a few resources on the internet but I am not entirely sure where to point you exactly. Personally I would start meditation, practicing Reiki, cleansing and healing my emotional layers, chakras, and energy channels, and then keep the necklace with me and eventually start wearing it.🙏
